IHC is prepared using colostrum harvested from the first milking given by cows after calving, using our patented method of collection.  First milking is defined as being within 12 hours after birth. A patented Colostrum Harvesting System has ensures IHC is collected from individual cows, and frozen immediately with a much lower bacterial load and higher bioactive load than alternative methods.
•    Since the levels of antibody and anti-microbial components have been shown to halve with each subsequent milking, the colostrum collected from the first milking naturally contains the highest levels of antibodies and other anti-microbial components.
